Developers

With Windows Phone 7 becoming later in 2010, now is a great time to be designing and building an application or two for the Marketplace.

While Windows Phone 7 is a completely new mobile platform, with a new UI and design language, if you have done some Silverlight development then you are well on your way to becoming a Windows Phone 7 developer.

The development tools (Visual Studio 2010 Express for Windows Phone) are available for free download and include an emulator running Windows Phone 7 so you can get started developing your application now. The place to go to get started is the Windows Phone developer page or more specifically the Windows Phone 7 page.
