Early languages were developed, and forced the humans to think like a computer, working at "electronic levels" of on/off switches. This highly skilled and technical job required enormous amounts of patience and accuracy, since a single 0 out of place could render the instructions useless. Fortunately since the 1940's programming languages, (or ways of writing computer instructions) have evolved, so that with a little training most humans can issue instructions to the computer to follow. |
