Overview

Spreadsheets may be one component of an integrated package or be able to run stand- alone. Many of the stand-alone spreadsheets are now bundled with other office productivity tools (Word processing, database) to form a high-end "Office" suites.

Examples of Integrated packages that contain Spreadsheets include;

  • MS-WORKS
  • Claris Works

Examples of specialised spreadsheets include;

  • MS-Excel (Microsoft)
  • Quattro Pro
    (Corel originally Borland, )
  • Lotus 123
  • SuperCalc
