Initial Installation

Imagine you have just received a new PC.

Some of the things you should do before you turn your computer on.

  • Read and 'Read me first' instructions
  • Ensure power setting correct (240V or 110V)
  • Ensure all cables connected properly
  • Check for any packing and freighting screws (especially for printers)
  • Check power supply is 'clean' (eg. No photocopiers attached)

Other things to consider.

  • Workstation
  • Ergonomics
