People who use the computers are classified as end-users (or just
users)
People are the reason we have computers in the first place - to make us more productive!! The systems analyst must not view the user as some-one for whom the system is being built, the end user is an integral component of any system. Many types of people benefit from computer use;
I will classify them into two groups;

accountants, personal assistants, managers, graphic artists, musicians, engineers, technicians, user support, programmers, systems designer/analysts, operators, network administrators, sales
We've heard about real programmers - a legendary breed that scoffs at sleep, scorns documentation and reads object code with the naked eye. But what of the lesser mortals who must make use of programs that real programmers write. They're called Real Users, and make Real programmers' lives hell, ... and this is how to spot one:
