| The application that brought Internet to the masses is World wide web.
With the introduction of a Graphical user interface, and commercialisation of the net
World wide web became a must have for many computer users. The WWW is likened to a library with all the books scattered on the floor. Your task is to find what you're looking for. Luckily there are librarians (Web search engines) that catalogue what is on the net. Alta vista and Yahoo are examples. Authors add books to the library and inform various librarians. (Add URL) |
