Amacom Flip Disk

hwhdfl01.jpg (28586 bytes)

PCMCIA & Parallel port hard drive

The Flipdisk is smaller, lighter, faster and offers more capacity than any other portable data storage device currently available.

The flipdisk utilises a unique patented PC card hinge mechanism which folds away neatly and compactly into the unit, thus eliminating the need cumbersome interface and power cables. The Flipdisk draws it power from the PC Card interface directly and can be used via any PC parallel port using the Amacom parallel interface cable.

Flipdisk incorporates an industry standard 2.5" hard drive with capacities of up to 12.8Gb (*using data compression). Data transfer rates and access times are as fast as internal hard disk speeds. Flipdisk is built to withstand high operating shocks associated with portable equipment and incorporates specially designed shock absorbers with the added protection  of a padded carry case supplied with the unit.
