Keyboard

• Standard
  5 - pin male round connector
• IBM PS/2
  5 pin male round connector has a smaller size than Standard 5-pin connector
• Apple
  SCSI based round connector.

Mouse

• Serial (usually COM1)
  9 - pin female D connector on mouse cable connects to male connector on PC.

Video display

• EGA screen
  ? pin D connector (Two row)
• VGA screen
  15 - pin male D connector (Three row)

Parallel connection

• Printer (LPT1)
  25 - pin male D connector on the printer cable connects to 25 - pin Female D connector on back of the PC.
• Used for PC-PC "fastlink"or "Interlnk" short distance high speed communication.

Serial connection

• 25 - pin Female D connector
• Used for modem, PC-PC "fastlink"or "Interlnk" longer distance, slower speed communication.

Joystick

• Serial (COM "games" port)
  9 - pin female D connector
