A combination of the Pentium® Pro processor plus the
capabilities of MMX technology.
- The processor core has 7.5 million transistors.
- Based on Intels 0.25 micron CMOS manufacturing process for increased
processor core frequencies and reduced power consumption
- P6 microarchitecture core as the Pentium® II processor.
- Provided in the single edge processor package (S.E.P.P.)
- MMX technology.
- Utilizes the Intel P6 microarchitectures multi-transaction system bus at 66MHz.
- Includes a 32K (16K/16K) non-blocking, level-one cache that provides fast access to
heavily used data
- Intel 440EX AGPset
- Originally no Level 2 cache
- June 1998: 266MHz (no cache) and 300MHz (+ 128K L2 cache).
- 1999:
- 333MHz & 366MHz.
- Mobile Celerons: 266MHz, 300MHz & 333MHz (+ 128K L2 cache)
