Identify and list the components (data elements) from the Base information.
The base information is obtained from each user view, i.e. from reports and forms (input
and output documents).
Step 2
Apply normalisation rules (First, Second and Third normal forms) to each identified list
of components (data elements). Each list will produce its own normalised data structures.
Remove any calculated fields. If they are required (eg. for audit) this should be noted.
Step 3
Combine each normalised data list into one combined set of data structures.
