Tripod

1. Create a tripod account

•  userid. e.g. mverhaart
• password: *********

log on to http://www.tripod.com 

create the tripod account

in my case this creates a home site of http://members.tripod.com/mverhaart/  (don't forget the last /)

2. Set some preferences 

• Change the add type to pop-up
• Set the site to Front-page enable. 

Accessing with frontpage

open web

in folder name enter http://member.tripod.com/member-name/ 
eg. http://member.tripod.com/mverhaart/
