| ClipArt |
- ClipArt can come in a variety of file formats - depending on the graphics package
the drawing was created in and the format it was saved as.
- Vector formats where the drawing is defined in terms of lines and regions,(such
as CDR and WMF) will allow the picture to have a transparent background. WMF (Windows Meta
file) is the standard clipArt format.
- Bitmap formats where the drawing is made up of dots (BMP, TIF, JPG) will
generally have the background rectangle showing. The Bitmap GIF files may allow
transparent backgrounds if transparency has been set.
