  • Powerpoint as the presentation software since it will enable
    • Text to be easily entered and presented in a bullet form
    • Automatically creates couloured slides that can be used on a computer projector
    • Enables images (graphics) to be incorporated and animated.

  • Paintbrush (or CorelDraw!, PhotoShop, or PaintShop Pro) for original graphics
    • Images that have been scanned may be touched up
    • Original coloured graphics can be created

  • Excel
    • Able to collect and analyse data
    • Able to produce charts to help in the analysis of the data
    • ....(and so on)..
• Operating environment
  • Powerpoint runs in Windows 95/98 or Windows NT.
  • It is important that the machine you will develop on has sufficient room for the presentation. Graphics can rapidly fill up a hard disk especially if they are scanned at high resolutions. It is worth a quick check to determine if your machine has sufficient space for the presentation, and if not clear up some of your files.
    In Windows 95/98 you can use Windows Explorer to work out how much space your files are taking.
  • The equipment to plan, design, create and present your presentation include;
    Computer, Printer, Computer projector.
