Manually connecting to an ISP

• This option enable you to set up a terminal session with your ISP by typing in the Userid and password.
• It is a good way to test that all is working before a script is added.

Right mouse click on the Entry name (here Xtra) and select Properties...

• Select Configure
  
• Click [Ok] until back to dial-up networking
• Try dialing out.
  Connection should be established (<cr> = [Enter])
  • For Xtra:
    Logon : xtr?????? (?= your number)<cr>
    Password: <enter it> <cr>
  • For Voyager:
    Service:  p<cr>
    Username: ????? <cr>
    Password. ???? <cr>
• Hopefully a connection will be made!
• You should now be able to start up your Browser (eg. Internet Explorer/Netscape) communicator and start surfing..
