Manually connecting to an ISP

- This option enable you to set up a terminal session with your ISP by typing in the
Userid and password.
- It is a good way to test that all is working before a script is added.

Right mouse click on the Entry name (here Xtra) and select Properties...

- Select Configure

- Click [Ok] until back to dial-up networking
- Try dialing out.
Connection should be established (<cr> = [Enter])
- For Xtra:
Logon : xtr?????? (?= your number)<cr>
Password: <enter it> <cr>
- For Voyager:
Service: p<cr>
Username: ????? <cr>
Password. ???? <cr>
Hopefully a connection will be made!
You should now be able to start up your Browser (eg. Internet
Explorer/Netscape) communicator and start surfing..
