Form: Autoform / modify
  • Use the autoform to create a data entry form.
  • Modify the form by
    • Adding a suitable heading
    • Placing a comment that indicate a Y or N is to be entered in the ReOrder field
    • Placing the calculation for GST onto the form.
  • Confirm the GST is correct by testing with PartPrice = 100, and Part Price = 50. (work out the answers manually first).
  • Printout 3: Printout in Form view your special part. (WARNING ** Not all records!)
 Table: Edit records
  • With the Parts table open in Table view.
  • Change the following data.
Exercise
  • Disco pads to Disk pads
  • There are 55 Petrol Caps in stock
  • Radiant Tyres should be Radial Tyres
  • Clutch Plates cost $111.11
  • Glowbug Spotlight should be part number 828 and there are 28 in stock
  • 13-piece Screwdriver set is a 12-piece one and needs to be reordered.
Table: Add new records

  • Practice Deleting (by Cutting) the wiper blades and undeleting (by paste append).
    ** This should be demonstrated to your tutor or a peer.
  • Printout 4: Preview then print out all records in list view
Table: Querying records
  • View all records where the price is greater than $50
  • View all records where quantity is less than 22
  • Printout 5: Preview then print out all records that have to be re-ordered. Preview then print out all records that have to be re-ordered.
 Table: Sorting records
  • Sort Part Name into Alpha order.
  • Printout 6: Preview then print out the table showing all records with Quantity sorted ascending.
