Report: Design
dbh_ra2.gif (2417 bytes) When we worked out the requirements for the database, one output was to produce a Heights report in Height order.

After we added the records a sort was applied to the database, so the records are already in height order.


Report: Create

  • With the Heights table selected (1), Click on the drop down button(2) as shown , and select [Report] (3).
    Note:
    AutoReport produces a columnar report which is usually not the one desired. Each record is listed with it's field name, so even a small number of records produces a long report.
  • Select "AutoReport: Tabular" from the "New Report" Dialog box (4).
  • Select [OK]
  • The report shown (below) / (5) generated.
    • Close the report and call it "Heights"
